Camouflage spreading beyond hunting gear
While flipping through the pages of the outdoor catalogs I’m constantly getting in the mail, I couldn’t help but notice there was a good deal of space dedicated to camouflage clothing and specialized equipment designed for women and children, which is a good thing.
As much as I love the outdoor lifestyle, I would never wear my Realtree camouflage deer hunting clothes to stalk a frozen turkey or steak at the local supermarket or put camouflage diapers on my kids, even if they were available when they were babies.

Of particular interest was the wide array of soft safe (essentially foam-shooting) weapons. They range from compound bows and crossbows to air-powered and pump-action soft air rifles and shotguns, complete with hook-and-loop ammo that sticks to specially designed targets, one of which was a near-life-size, blow-up deer.
