To be honest I can care less about britain and the racist, thieving history it has! I don't think the stupid marriage proposal should take headlines over MORE VITAL information in the news.
I AGREE! The royal family aren't even at all powerful anymore! Its just for tourist attraction, and I guess putting them on the headlining news makes foreigners want to come and visit? Its completly ridiculous really.

Charities gear up for busy season
The kettles are in place at Walmart, Walgreens, K-Mart and two Warehouse Market locations in the city.
The money goes toward operating expenses for the charity, and helps cover the cost food baskets for un-adopted angels, said Greg Parker, of the Sand Springs Salvation Army.
Though money is used year-round, much of it goes toward Christmas programs, Parker said. He noted that the holiday season is a vital fundraising time for the organization.
"It's our biggest fundraiser of the year," he said. "It's the money we use to run the place."
The Salvation Army also takes donations in a variety of other forms.
In addition to clothing and money, residents can give their old cars, unused airline miles and appliances to those in need.
Salvation Army volunteers are also planning a joint "Breakfast with Santa" event with the Chamber of Commerce from 7-11 a.m. Dec. 17 at the Salvation Army Community Center. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.
