No, that shouldn't even be possible... There must be something wrong with your bow...There should be a bar or rod that keep your pulley strings off to the side some, outta the way..... They usually run thru a clip that slides along that bar.

Usually there is a sticker on the bow that has the draw length, bow size, and draw weight. If not, take it to a sporting goods store with a bow press and bow scale, tools, etc, and they can get all the specs for you.
More deer mean more hunting permits for region
Sportsmen this fall snatched up permits allowing them to hunt 850 more deer than last year in eastern Massachusetts, part of a multi-year state effort to control the animal's population.
The extra permits to hunt antlerless deer sold out in an area stretching from I-495 to the coast and along the North and South shores.
The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife has looked to expanded hunting in part to stabilize a deer population that spiked in these regions throughout the 1990s, said Tom O'Shea, assistant director of wildlife at the state agency.
The number of deer has leveled off a bit in the last three to five years, but remains higher than the state would like, he said.
"We have to continue to not only make sure we're allocating enough antlerless deer permits, but also that there's enough access for (deer hunters) to use those permits," O'Shea said.
Several local hunters agreed they are seeing more deer early in the season, which they expect will make for a thriving deer hunting season.
