Just a question about Slick Trick Broadheads?
Pepto Shows Off

I am going to shoot Slick Trick Broadheads this year. I was just wondering why do they have ST Magnum broadheads and like 5 other kinds. Which one is the best type to buy? Thanks!

I think all of the versions of the slick trick are good . But I use the standard size 1 inch cut. I have used it in the 100 grain size and the 125 grain size.

Even though you have a 1 inch cut compared to the magnums sizes you...

I use the slick tricks and have used almost all the broad heads on the market at one time or the other. I have found the slick trick to be extremely impressive. Flies like my field point. Makes a massive wound. Creates an impressive blood...

A Broadhead Question?
Poke 'n Tickle

Reasons why Slick Trick broadheads are the best fixed blade broadheads on the market today.
I don't trust ANY mechanical broadhead. I've seen Rage used before but I've heard a lot of bad things about them. I'm not saying they don't work......

Here's one reason on this video. It tests a Slick Trick against a Rage 2 blade broadhead to see which penetrated best. I think the results will surprise you. Remember the Trick is a 4 blade head. The Rage used in this test is a two blade head.

The Best Broadhead....?
The Magic Awaits

I am going to start bow hunting for deer this October. My only question is what is the best broadhead on the market today. Most people use Muzzys, Thunderheads, or Slick Tricks but I've heard a lot of bad things about them. I am really impressed with

Muzzy's....they're bad to the bone!

Don't get too caught up in the the latest and greatest. I don't want anything mechanical that I've got to rely on. I've tried a number of them, and yes, they do make clean harvests, but not all the

Outdoors inMaine: A story for Scotty

I draw back the bow and hold beneath the shooting window so my intended will not see my blue sight light through the mesh screening. The biggest deer, the doe, freezes and looks my way. With the wind in my favor, I know she is bothered, not by my smell, but by the setup. (the blind must look out of place to her.) She bolts and bounds back into the woods behind me. The two smaller deer hover about and begin feeding just out of range. I let off on the bow and watch them. Both are small deer of the same size, but shooters nonetheless. One moves a tad closer. I pull back the bow again and hold on it. It is about 25 yards. I decide to be patient, thinking maybe that the big doe will relax and come back in. By now, light is fading fast. One comes closer to me,but the shot is head on. No broadside shot. I draw the bow yet again. The deer steps out of view behind the fallow apple tree beside my blind. Both deer are about 15 yards and frozen in their tracks. With the bow still back,

Box Office Prophets

Movie Review: Hanna As it stands, it's a slick action movie with a paper thin plot that left me feeling both excited and empty at the same time. Like Kill Bill: Vol. 1, it would benefit greatly from a sequel, in which the substance gets revealed in the second chapter.
